Amalfi Coast Day Tour

About the Tour

You’ll meet your professional English-speaking driver at the previously arranged port. He will drive you through this unforgettable journey!

First stop will be Amalfi: a powerful maritime republic between IX and XI centuries. The Arab-Norman Sant'Andrea cathedral at the heart of town, with its striped Byzantine façade, is a real jewel. Visit the Duomo and the beautiful cloister, the “Chiostro del Paradiso”. Stroll along the town and reach the old Arsenal: once the hearth of the ancient Republic of Amalfi, now it’s a great museum.

Second leg of the trip, Ravello, with its unique, breathtaking position, facing the sea of Salerno Gulf. It has been artists, musicians, and writers’ preferred destination through centuries: Richard Wagner, Virginia Wolf and Escher among others indulged in this lovely area and got inspired. We suggest you stroll around and visit the amazing Villa Rufolo, built in the XIII century by the Rufolo family. Restored in the XIX by Sir Francis Nevile Reid, the new owner, the villa, and its gardens recovered their ancient splendor. You’ll be seduced.

After this visit our driver will meet you and suggest the best spots to enjoy a lunch break, before driving to the last leg of the tour: Positano. No need to spend words on this town amazing beauty: just get lost in its narrow streets, breathe the smell of lemons and the Mediterranean vegetation, and reach the sea at “Spiaggia Grande”. Visit the beautiful Church of Santa Maria Assunta, before getting up to the meeting point.

Your driver will stop along the way back, to let you take photos of this unique panorama.
