Pompeii & Ravello

About the Tour

Pompeii excavations will be the first leg of this full day trip. We recommend booking a professional guide to get the most out of this visit. We will be pleased to arrange it for you, on demand. You won’t forget the House of Vettii, which has been reopened in 2023 after a long restoration period. The magnificent paintings and sculptures in the house reflect the wealth of the territory of Pompeii, where wine was produced for export throughout the Mediterranean.

After this great full immersion in history, you will meet your driver to continue to the beautiful town of Ravello. Set 365 meters above the sea, its villas and vistas have enchanted visitors for centuries.

Villa Cimbrone, with its stunning views of the Mediterranean and the dramatic coastline below, is the jewel of Ravello. Its origins date back to the 11th century but was completely renovated in the 20th century by Lord Grimthorpe. The villa’s belvedere is probably one of the most beautiful in the world; the gardens are adorned with temples and statues; the cloister and the crypt are well worth visiting too.

Villa Rufolo, built in the 13th century by a wealthy medieval residence, has been refurbished in the 19th century by its new owner, Sir Francis Neville Reid, a Scottish botanist who fell in love with the building and its gardens.

Your driver will be pleased to suggest a good and traditional restaurant to enjoy a great lunch during the day.
